The Quakes - Nine Lives

É raro você encontrar um disco de Rockabilly ou Psychobilly com letras no encarte ! Com a internet isso mudou um pouco, você acaba encontrando elas ( ou algumas ) de uma forma ou outra. Vou postar aqui letras que achar interessante, começando por essa do Quakes, que foi gentilmente enviada pelo vocalista Paul Roman. Ela faz parte do primeiro disco da banda, lançado em 1988 pelo selo inglês Nervous Records. Thanks Paul!

by 1985 all the psycho bands knew
that it would live a new life
free strong and true
they kept to their roots with that crazy slappin' bass
intensity was written all over their face

well now its 1988 and things are going well
all this top 40 crap has all been shunned to hell
how long this life will last
these cats will never know
but when it dies it’ll have six more to go
